It’s not very often that the average person gets to see the creative process behind a painting. Artist Lawrence Yang decided to change that by photographing the various steps behind his latest work, Fish Triptych.
Don’t be fooled by the small thumbnail, Honey and Almond is an intricately created landscape, hand carved on bars of soap. Honey and Almond scented soap to be exact.
Inaugurated in 2001, the President’s Young Talents is a contemporary art exhibition aiming to showcase the work of upcoming Singapore artists whose work is both promising and exciting.
This is no ordinary animated short film. Every single frame, over 6000 in total, is a unique and painstakingly produced painting. Taking over two years to create, Khoda is absolutely mesmerising to watch.
